My dear friend Tenzin Lama Sherpa is visiting Crestone this week. He is a Tibetan Buddhist Monk from the Nyingmapa Buddhist Tradition. He lived in Chile for four years so he talks the language well. He visited my classes last week and my students were delighted with his visit. They asked him several questions in Spanish about his life and his experience in Chile as well. Half the class was conducted in Spanish and the other half in English. We learned about Buddhist perspectives on life, meditation, stress relief exercises and Reiki. Curiosity was created, deeper thinking about different ways of living, new experiences were shared and new insights were created. Already some of them want to learn more about meditation!

One of my parents told me today: "I am so grateful that you are bringing new experiences to our children. Not many of them are exposed to different traditions, different religious practices and different ways of living! My son was telling me all about it and how you guys talked about Reiki as well"
